The security measures have been strengthened outside Amitabh Bachchan’s three bungalows Jalsa, Prateeksha and Janak, after foreseeing the agitations from the workers of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP), post the reconciliation between MNS Chief Raj Thackeray and Amitabh Bachchan.
Big B was present at the seventh anniversary of the movie wing ‘Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena’ of ‘Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’ (MNS) at Shanmukhanand Hall in Central Mumbai last week. He shared the podium with MNS Chief Raj Thackeray, who had five years back taken a dig at all UP-ites and at Mr.Bachchan by calling him the brand ambassador of Uttar Pradesh.
Post the conciliation between the two, the workers of SP and BSP started protesting outside the Bachchan house, and they think Amitabh’s presence at the function was an “insult” to the North Indians.
SP MLA, Abu Azmi, has demanded clarifications from Sr Bachchan, as to whether it is only Amitabh Bachchan, or has Raj Thackeray accepted all other people from the North-Indian states whom he had insulted years back.
Post the indications of BSP authorities resorting to further protests and demonstrations at AB’s bungalows, the securities have been beefed up and patrolling in the area has been heightened.
