While his way of remembering the actor was appreciated by many, a Twitter user told him that you could have offered him a film when he was alive. It was then when the Tashkent Files director made the big revelation.

Replying to the user, he wrote, “I had signed him for ‘Hate Story’ – his first movie contract. But Balaji didn’t release him.

Well, for the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor produced hit television soap Pavitra Rishta. The show was a raging hit on the charts and gave Sushant a big launch.

Meanwhile, in the interrogation, police have so far already summoned 10 people including his alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14. The actor was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment. The initial investigation had revealed that he was suffering from depression and stress for the past 6 months.
