Punit D. Malhotra, the director of I Hate Luv Storys, is fuming. Columnist Shobhaa De trashed his film in her column in a city supplement of a nation daily. While Malhotra is cool about Shobhaa not liking his debut film, what has agitated him no end is her going personal. In the same column, Shobhaa has expressed her desire to spank him publicly.
Reacting, Punit tweeted, “Shobhaa De is a fossil going through menopause. She doesn’t get action.” Later on, Punit added, “Going by her logic, should I be spanking Shobhaa if I don’t like what she writes?”
