Shahid Kapoor Reveals What His Neighbourhood Aunties Told Him After Watching Kabir Singh

Kabir Singh has truly proved to be a game-changer for Shahid Kapoor. He has truly got an overwhelming response for the film on both positive and negative side. If he has received huge criticism for playing a misogynist character, the masses have given a grand thumbs up by making the film biggest Blockbuster of his career and also one of the highest All Time Bollywood grossers.

Recently Shahid Kapoor came out in open and talked about why he maintained silence for a long time. Talking to Bollywood Hungama, he said, “The reason I didn’t do an interview is that I felt everyone was very aggressive. And I didn’t think it was healthy. I didn’t want to come out attacking anybody. I didn’t want to come out defending a film. I wanted to speak about a film like a film should be spoken about.”

Shahid also talked about how his neighborhood aunties reacted after watching the film and his fans will really love it. Shahid Kapoor told, “I was just going to the lift and one of the aunties called me. They were around ten of them. When I came to them, they all looked at me and said, ‘We loved the film’. It was so weird that it came at the time when I was reading so many things about the film.”
