Shah Rukh Khan To Receive Honorary Doctorate From The University Of Edinburgh

The 49 year old ‘Dilwale‘ actor, Shah Rukh Khan will be receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh, where he will be delivering a lecture on October 15th. SRK has also received an honorary doctorate degree in Arts & Culture from Britain’s University of Bedfordshire in the past.

Last year, former President Late Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam also received an honorary degree of the Doctor of Science from the University of Edinburgh. The other B-town celebs who are conferred with honorary doctorates are Amitabh Bachchan from De Montfort University, Leicester in UK, Universities of Delhi & Jhansi & also at Queensland in Australia. Lata Mangeshkar & A. R. Rahman have also received multiple honorary titles. Sharmila Tagore has been awarded an honorary doctorate of Arts by Edinburgh Napier University & Khiladi Akshay Kumar, who has received Ph. D degree at Assumption University in Ontario, Canada.
