Trouble continues for the ‘King of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan as the Income Tax Department continues to probe into his Alibaug property matter. It is reported that the Raees actor will not get any respite on the case till December 2018 from the Income Tax department which is currently investigating the case.

The actor has been accused of buying the Alibaug property under the false pretense of using it for agricultural purposes, and instead built a farmhouse on the land. Owned by the actor under the name of Deja vu Farms Pvt Ltd., the actor bought the property under Section 63 of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948 (which stipulates that only a farmer can buy agricultural land) and instead has been using it for luxurious purposes.The property dispute has now reached New Delhi and there will be a hearing with both parties before giving an order in this matter.

The luxurious mansion, spread over an area of 19,960 sq meters is equipped with comforts such as a swimming pool, a private helipad, a private football ground and a part of the beach. Valued by some at approximately 14.67 crores, the actor uses it for quick getaways, or to entertain guests.

According to recent reports, the authorities will pass the order in one year from the date of provisional attachment order. Also, it is also said that the date of hearing and final order depends on the authority’s load of work. While this is true, IT department refuses to budge from its original claim that the actor’s property falls under Benami Act.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero, opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. He is also also speculated to star in Salute, an upcoming biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma.
