“Salman Khan Told Everyone That He Knows Me For 120 Years”: Raveena Tandon

Salman Khan & Raveena Tandon are one of the oldest Bollywood friends. They have worked together in 1991 film Patthar Ke Phool and cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna which released back in 1994. Even though they haven’t worked together for a long time, they still continue to share a great warm bond of friendship.

Raveena who is currently judging Nach Baliye 9 spoke about Salman Khan who also happens to be the producer of the show. Speaking to Mid-Day, Raveena said that Salman tells everyone that he knows her for 120 years.

Raveena said, “He told everyone that he knows me since the last 120 years. There’s a comfort factor with him. We spoke non-stop on the set, but when the episode was telecast, I realised that they had edited out a major chunk due to time constraints. We then told each other, ‘Why did we talk so much?’”

She further added, “We kept remembering (anecdotes from) the film’s shoot. We go back 29 years, so one can well imagine our conversation.”

Talking about her approach towards judging, Raveena said, “I don’t believe in being too strict. My job is not to berate the contestants but to encourage them. They are all doing their best. No one intentionally wants to give a bad performance.”

Meanwhile, Salman is shooting for Dabangg 3 which is slated to release on Dec 20, 2019. After Dabangg 3, he will kickstart the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Alia Bhatt.
