Salman Khan has a huge fan base and the superstar makes sure that he treats his fans with back to back films. After an entertaining performance in Bharat, Salman Khan is coming back with Dabangg 3 and has already reserved Eid 2020 for Radhe: You Most Wanted Bhai.
Now, the actor is planning to make a two-film deal with the distributors to make sure that the films get maximum spread and the distributors also benefit from it. Initially, Salman had offered Dabangg 3 at Rs 200 Crore to distributors which they felt was a high price for a film’s distribution owing to the financial conditions. He then changed the offer to entice the distributors.
According to reports in Mid-Day, Salman is probably talking to distributors about negotiating a two-film deal including Dabangg 3 and Radhe at Rs 350 Crore. A trade source revealed, “Knowing the popularity that the franchise enjoys, the makers had planned to sell Dabangg 3 at Rs 200 Crore. But, the distributors feel that the price is on the higher side, given the current financial situation where the spending power of the masses is controlled.”
“So, Salman has decided to follow the model that has been adopted by production houses on past occasions. He has offered a package deal for Dabangg 3 and Radhe apparently at an estimated price of Rs 350 Crore, thereby safeguarding the interests of the distributors and reducing the strain on making profits. If it works out, it will be a win-win situation for both parties,” added the source.
Talking about the two films, Dabangg 3 and Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai, Salman is gearing up for the release of the former film. He is shooting for Radhe with Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Bharath Niwas and Jackie Shroff. Both the films are directed by Prabhudheva which will showcase Khan in an action avatar.
