Saif Clarifies His Stance On Not Working With Shah Rukh Khan

The latest victim of misquoted media is indeed Saif Ali Khan, who in his recent interviews commented about how he might never again get a chance to work with Shah Rukh Khan again. In an interview to Koimoi, he had clearly stated that there will be little room for a parallel lead in an all consuming Shah Rukh Khan film. Misunderstood and misquoted, the news that came out mostly was that Saif never wants to work with Shah Rukh Khan again.

Saif reached out to Koimoi to clarify the same. Hurt and extremely offended, a stung Saif Ali Khan said, “I’m upset at the reporting of this as I have a lot of respect for SRK. I have worked with him and I know what his contribution is invaluable!! This is bullshit…I have loved working with SRK whenever I have…Filmfare awards hosting…Kal Ho Na Ho..temptations tours…Seagrams ad!!!! He is an amazing guy…he was also one of the few people at my wedding from the industry…I look up to him and he had influenced a lot of my thoughts on set.”

Explaining the real gist of what he had said, Saif explained, “What I meant was I don’t see myself doing a film with him unless I have a really interesting role…and most of the films he does revolve around him..and rightly so!!!”

Misquoting regarding SRK has quite been the flavor this month. After Jaya Bachchan, it seems Saif was the TRP garnering media’s top target.
