Join UsEver since the announcement of Shah Rukh Khan starring opposite Alia Bhatt in Gauri Shinde’s next hit the stands, there have been numerous theories surrounding the actor’s role. While it was made quite clear that the Fan actor will not be playing the male lead, he will also not be romantically involved with Alia’s character.
Buzz is, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as a ‘love guru’ to Alia’s character in the film. She will be seen playing the role of a young filmmaker who is involved with four different guys and how these men shape her life and work.
The four male leads in the film are Angad Bedi, Kunal Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ali Zafar.
Gauri Shinde’s last directorial, English Vinglish was a major success and hence Shah Rukh seemed to be confident about signing the film in spite of a smaller role. The actor has already filmed for a few portions with Alia in Goa.
He is currently gearing up for his upcoming release, Fan which hits the theaters on 15th April, 2016.
