Ranveer Singh is the man of the hour right now with his stellar performance in Padmaavat and has won numerous hearts with his portrayal of the character Allaudin Khilji in the film. From his body transformation to his acting, Ranveer was totally into the skin of the character. After the cast’s superb performance, something that has continuously been making news is the song Khalibali from the film Padmaavat.
Catchy beats, offbeat lyrics and unique choreography have proved to be the USP of the song.
According to a report published in Bollywood Hungama a source from the team of Padmaavat revealed, “Ranveer Singh claims to have been so traumatized playing Allauddin Khilji that he had to visit a psychiatrist, that children would run away from him when they saw him in the villainous makeup…All this is Ranveer’s enthusiasm talking. He is such a natural at his job, he gets into character in a jiffy. Ranveer would be laughing and joking on the sets. The minute he was in front of camera he would portray red-hot evil. There was no trauma or emotional baggage.”
The choreography of Ranveer Singh’s song Khalibali was inspired by American rock musician the legendary Jim Morrison. Their source further commented “Sanjay Bhansali had seen music videos of Morrison performing live on stage. He told Ranveer to look at them.”
For some time now Ranveer Singh is satisfied with playing a negative character. He will not take up a project, where he will have to play an evil role.
