Ranbir Kapoor, hailed as the next superstar and critically acclaimed in his latest film, Raajneeti, recently signed up as the brand ambassador of Nissan Motor India Private Ltd. The auto major is expected to launch its first locally made car – Nissan Micra in India.
The contract, which is for a period of three years, entails Ranbir to endorse the products and services of Nissan in India through promotion, advertising and marketing.
Speaking on the occasion, Ranbir Kapoor said, “It is an honour and privilege to be associated with Nissan. I have been a great admirer of Nissan cars during my days spent in Europe. Some of their cars like the GTR, 370Z, which has been introduced in India are all iconic products.”
Ads featuring Ranbir Kapoor will feature in the print, digital, radio and TV media starting June 10, 2010.
