Clashes do hamper healthy professional relationships which Bollywood celebs apparently attempt to foster. The highest point of 2013 was the Eid release of Chennai Express and Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Again. However, the competition hype was dampened with the news of OUATIMA delaying its release by a week!

While Salman Khan had reigned Eid every year for the last four years, this year’s films were going to make up for his conspicuous Dabangg-less feat.

The Akshay Kumar starrer playing safe trying to avoid any disturbances in their professional terrains by having a direct face off with staunch colleagues decided to delay their release by a week ‘all for the good cause’. The film will now release on the eve of Independence Day on 15th August, hence taking full advantage of the public holiday.

The reason for the release delay is unknown but it is unlikely that Akshay Kumar or Balaji was intimidated by Shah Rukh Khan or Rohit Shetty’s popularity. Settling itself comfortably between the release of two of year’s biggest releases Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express and Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha, OUATIMA has guaranteed itself a safe cocoon of stable performance and collections!

However, fans who were enjoying their latent animosity have been gravely disappointed. Hopefully, the films will have us satisfied. Meanwhile, the filmy fans are all chanting come August!
