Kangana Ranaut and Rhea Chakraborty have dominated mainstream headlines since the past couple of days. While there are teams formed, one supporting Kangana and the other Rhea, filmmaker Reema Kagti is backing both the ladies. In a tweet, Kagti condemned the happenings around both of them and expressed that she can support both at the same time. Read on to know more and also don’t miss the tweet.
A quick recap, Rhea, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau for her involvement in the drugs angle of Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The Jalebi actor got support from a lot of friends from the industry. On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut’s office in Mumbai was raided by BMC who demolished the unauthorised portions of it. This was following the feud between Kangana and Sanjay Raut which led to the Mumbai PoK comparison by the Panga actor.
Reacting to both the controversies and what happened, Reema Kagti, who has Talaash, Gold and Dil Dhadakne Do and many more films to get credit condemned it. In a tweet referring to Rhea Chakraborty and Kangana Ranaut, she wrote, “I condemn the demolition of Kangana’s office, and I condemn the hounding and harassment of Rhea. Yes, I can be against both these things.”

While Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai PoK remark did put many of her contemporaries from the industry off, there was a fair share who thought BMC’s sudden move was unethical. Actors including Dia Mirza, Anupam Kher and others have condemned the corporation’s move too.
Dia Mirza who did call out Kangana Ranaut for her remark, wrote, “I don’t agree with many of the things Kangana has said in the last few months. The name-calling, the vicious personal attacks on individuals, the vilification of people. At the same time I am not okay with her being subjected to personal attacks.”
