It’s been a while since we’ve seen Preity Zinta in India, other than cheering for her IPL team Kings XI Punjab. The bubbly actress was last seen on the big screen in a special appearance in the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer Main Aurr Mrs Khanna.

But Preity has been busy in the US. Her Twitter account is filled with updates of her meetings, parties and events. She met up with Jermaine Jackson (the late Michael Jackson’s brother) and his wife Halima for dinner and has also been to Lady Gaga’s concert. And if you think she’s socializing only with the entertainment world, then she also met up with the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Preity Zinta was also the Grand Marshal for India’s Independence Day Parade in New York City. The dimpled actress cheered and waved to her fans with the Indian flag; and was later joined by actress Sridevi. She looked gorgeous in a pink salwar kameez by Manish Malhotra.

If that isn’t enough, Preity Zinta has been invited for the opening bell ceremony at NASDAQ! Go get ‘em girl!
