Apparently Hrithik Roshan’s next project with Sanjay Gupta and father Rakesh Roshan has landed in a legal issue. Model turned actor Sudhanshu Pandey, who is seen films like ‘Singham‘ and ‘Murder 2’ has sent a legal notice to Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Gupta.
Sudhanshu Pandey is suing the makers for copyright infringement of his story, screenplay and dialogue. He titled his script ‘Farmayish‘.
In an interview Sudhanshu said that, He has spent two-and-a-half-years nurturing this script. It’s his story was to be the debut production made under his banner Raw Stock Production Private Limited. He met Sanjay Gupta in May and he agreed to come on board as a director and co-producer of the film. Together, they met at Balaji Telefilms and pitched the story to them and they instantly agreed to join the team as co-producers. They had Hrithik in mind for the lead and after one script-reading session, the actor nod his head and informed that his father wants to hear the script.
When Rakesh Roshan heard the script he made it clear that the film will be presented and produced under his banner ‘FilmKRAFT Productions’.
Sudhanshu also pointed that after the meeting on 11th October , he was offered 2 percent of the profit and the credit of associate producer. However he was not given any credit and later the makers also stopped taking his calls, so he filed a complaint with the Indian Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC) on November 28 claiming sole and exclusive intellectual property right, including copyright ownership on the script.
Pandey says that he will fight the case till the end as he has all his paper work properly and even Sanjay Gupta knows that he is wrong.
