After a lot of speculation and hoopla surrounding Kapil Sharma’s exit from the upcoming YRF drama Bank Chor, there was even more excitement about who would be replacing the comedian in the film. Well, YRF has confirmed the new male lead of their project and that’s none other than Riteish Deshmukh.
Currently, riding high on the success with his super hit film Ek Villain, the actor is now doubled with joy as he bags the new project. Confirming the news, Riteish said, “Loved the script. Loved the character. Loved the team. I’ve always liked to push the envelope with the choices I make. This film allows me to potentially rip it apart. Watch out there’s a new Bank-Chor in town!”
This is certainly a good news for the star who also has a Marathi film lined up for release that has already grabbed a lot of eyeballs and is all set to entertain the audiences soon.
Bank-Chor is a comic-caper, that tells the story of 3 morons trying to rob a bank who pick the worst day possible when everything that can go wrong, goes wrong and how they’re inadvertently caught in the crossfire of cops, industrialists and corrupt netas. Bank-Chor is directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil.
