Dabangg breaks the myth that a film has to be shot on picturesque foreign locations if it is to appeal to the public in the cities. With just one song shot abroad, the Salman Khan starrer is still going great guns in India. What’s more, it has done exceedingly well in the Overseas circuit too. Its business in the first two weeks in India is approximately Rs. 650 million while in Overseas, it is Rs. 80 million!
‘Dabangg’ should make producers rethink whether it is always necessary to spend so heavily on foreign shootings.
