The winners of the 63rd National Film Awards were announced today by the Information & Broadcasting Ministry. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan bagged his 4th National Award for best actor for Piku.
Previously Bachchan won best actor awards for Agneepath, Black and Paa. Kangana Ranaut won Best Actress award consecutively for 2 years! This year she won for Tanu Weds Manu Returns after her best stint with Queen.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali won Best Director award for his period drama Bajirao Mastani, while S.S Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali won the Best film award.
