With the fame and success of Don – The Chase Begins, it was no wonder that director Farhan Akhtar decided to go ahead with a sequel to the action thriller with Don 2. This time Shah Rukh Khan will be joined by Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Kunal Kapoor, Boman Irani and Om Puri.
Shah Rukh Khan wrapped up the shoot for his superhero film RA. One and almost immediately began shooting for ‘Don 2’ with Farhan Akhtar. While the shooting of the film is currently scheduled in Germany, certain sequences will also be shot in Philippines and other European countries.
Shah Rukh’s look in the film has been styled with jackets, scarves and some very cool shades by a New York-based designer Jaimal Odedra. From the looks of it, these fitting jackets and coats make him look just about fit, if not very thin. Jaimal Odedra has worked on films like Chandni Chowk To China and Patiala House.

Kunal Kapoor has joined the cast of ‘Don 2’ after rumours that Arjun Rampal pulling out. But Arjun need not worry; he’s already the villain in SRK’s ‘RA. One’.

Though ‘Don’ was a remake of the 1978 film with Amitabh Bachchan, the script is going to be completely different and unique this time around.
The German government is to provide an astounding rebate of 3 million Euros to the producers of ‘Don 2’ as the shooting of the film is expected to boost tourism of the country.
It is rumoured that Shah Rukh decided to shoot ‘Don 2’ in Berlin after he attended the Berlinale Film Festival in 2009 for his film My Name Is Khan.

Looking at Shah Rukh’s tired and shaggy state, we think the actor should have beefed up a bit before kicking off his new movie. But the silver screen will tell!
