Bollywood is a funny industry. It is a place where even fans cannot stop judging the antics of their idols. Subhash Ghai was seriously judged for the plagiarism with regards to his directorial, Yuvvraaj. One would not expect a figure like Ghai going about copying storylines, technique, and as much as possible, cinematography from another movie and keep the entire credit for himself.
Yuvvraaj is a very unsuccessful and shameful copy of the marvelous Rain Man, a 1998 Barry Levinson creation. The writers’ credits for Rain Man went to Barry Morrow and Ronald Bass and their team. Rain Man received immense critical accolades and is one of the most significant films in Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman and Valerie Golino’s careers.
However, the lavish star cast of the 2008 Yuvvraaj, consisting of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Zayed Khan and Anil Kapoor, could not save it from being a Box Office wreck.
