It won’t be hard to place a bet on the fact that Kangana Ranaut is all set to win an array of awards this year for being able to flawlessly deliver a film of Queen‘s caliber and level. But the actress isn’t keen to attend award functions next year.
Known to be a fiercely opinionated person, the actress spoke to Koimoi about it and said, “If there was just one award function I would look forward to attend it but there are about 15 to 16 of them. To sit through each award function for 6 hours is too much. Plus another 2 hours of hair and make-up time for it. It is an expensive equation.”
The dynamic actress also added, “It is not that I believe awards aren’t genuine. Ofcourse they are very genuine but when there are awards for Best Saree and Best Smile given out, what do you make out of them. Award functions are trying to please everyone.”
The actress signed off with, “At different stages, people have different priorities. I am not in a space where awards are my priority today.”
The actress is all set to play a tough role in her upcoming flick Revolver Rani which will release on 25th April.
