The priest of dark cinema, Anurag Kashyap is always hits the bulls eye for controversial reasons. Recently Anurag Kashyap along with other Bollywood celebs like Aparna Sen, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Mani Ratnam and Konkona Sen Sharma wrote an open letter to PM Modi sharing their concern on the rising violence in the country.
However, the act has landed Anurag in trouble as a Twitter user sent death threat to the filmmaker.
What happened was one person in retaliation wrote that he has recently cleaned his rifle and shotgun and is waiting to meet the ace director soon. Anurag immediately reported about the death threat to Mumbai Police and they stormed to action. The police also informed him that the cyber police has kept a check into the account, and the account details have been sent to the cyber cell. The filmmaker was asked to complain to the police station.
Their official tweet said, “The cyber police station has been sent the account details. Request you to file a police complaint at the your nearest police station for legal action to be initiated.”
