Bollywood stands overwhelmingly mesmerized by Lootera and Alia Bhatt in another one who seemed overtly touched by the film. The young actress was floored by the film’s style and seemed keen on working in a period film.

She said, “I would, at least once in my career, love to do a period film. I think a period film is not only very emotional and very dramatic, the kind of fashion you get to do is outstanding. It’s ostentatious, beautiful, vibrant and everything is detailed. So I would love to do a period film, not only for the role, but also for fashion!”

Daughter of talented director Mahesh Bhatt, Alia has the natural genes of understanding powerful cinema, and certainly qualified Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera as one. Giving a word about the kind of cinema she would want to do, Ali said, “I have an idea of the different kind of films I want to do. I just want to do lots of films and everything should be different, something that challenges me and caters to the need of the audience as well.”

Despite a pompous Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year, the actress has paved way towards her kind of films as she is working on Imtiaz Ali’s Highway with Randeep Hooda and 2 States with Arjun Kapoor, which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel of the same name.
