Ajay Devgn is one actor who plays every part with such immense ease that it certainly will leave you speechless. Right from playing the pure baddie in Khakee to the funny Gopal in Golmaal and the warrior in Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero, the actor is a true gem. While we have seen him essay several kinds of roles, it’s about time we saw him play the pure unadulterated baddie!

Our wish seems will get fulfilled soon, as it is being stated that Ajay Devgn is all set to play an antagonist for his upcoming flick. If the industry rumour is anything to go by, it is being reported that the Singham actor will be playing a supervillain in an upcoming superhero project.

A certain report in Mumbai Mirror claims that the film is being back by Yash Raj Studios and will be announced as a part of the YRF Project 50 announcement. The report states that Ajay Devgn will be playing a larger than life part and his character has a stronger and meatier role than the hero itself. This is also being reported to be one of the reasons why the actor gave his nod to the film.

Meanwhile, for those of you unversed, Yash Raj Productions has grand plans for the 50-year completion of the banner. There are several films lined up for announcement during the celebrations including a comeback for Shah Rukh Khan.

On the professional front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in the Om Raut directed, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior alongside Said Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar and Kajol in pivotal roles. The actor now has Maidaan and Golmaal 5 in the pipeline apart from a power-packed cameo in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe film, Sooryavanshi featuring Akshay Kumar in the titular role.
