Last night, internet was full with the pictures of Bollywood celebrities posing with PM of India Narendra Modi. PM Modi yesterday hosted a meeting with the members of the B-town including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Jacqueline Fernandez and many more. The meeting was held to discuss the initiatives to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
A cultural video based on the life Mahatma Gandhi, his preaching and way of life, featuring leading actors was also showcased at the event. SRK and Aamir further took the opportunity to thank the PM for letting them participate in the initiative.
“I would like to thank the Prime Minister for bringing us all together, that too for a cause such as this. I feel we need to re-introduce Gandhi ji to India and the world. The film industry can get self-obsessed and it is important we create work that is not only about business,” said Shah Rukh, about the need of the industry to come forward and make films on Gandhi that can help in the nation-building process. Not just the two superstars but all the celebs present had good things to say about the initiative and the event turned out to be a successful one.
