If the movie Dhamaal brought a smile to your face, then you definitely know what to expect from Double Dhamaal. Aamir Khan and Anil Kapoor were the special guests at the mahurat of the movie which has Kangna Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey, Ashish Chowdhry, Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar on its team.
Anil Kapoor attended the mahurat for old friends Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar who produced his movie Beta.
Aamir Khan was also the special guest of the function.
While Aamir Khan gave the clap for ‘Double Dhamaal’, Anil Kapoor directed the shot for the launch of the mahurat shot.
The cast for the sequel of ‘Dhamaal’, ‘Double Dhamaal’ has pretty much the same cast as its predecessor Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Ashish Chowdhry and Javed Jaffrey with ladies Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat on board. Mallika couldn’t make it to the mahurat and tweeted her regret, “So sad I couldn’t be part of ‘Double Dhamaal’ muhurat…Stop spreading rumors, media! Really wish schedules didn’t clash, it’s an honor to be part of D2.”
Kangna Ranaut let us down in a navy blue jacket and khaki skirt.
Kiran Rao made a brief appearance in a fitting black dress and pink-framed John Lennon glasses! We like!
Ashish Chowdhry came dressed in casuals.
Javed Jaffrey came in character in a green shirt, green shoes and a multi-coloured tie!
Boney Kapoor had son Arjun Kapoor for company. (Psst! Boney is looking forward to launch Arjun in Bollywood soon.)
Funny man Satish Kaushik also made it.
Aruna Irani looked jovial as ever.
