A Mumbai Street To Be Named After Priyanka Chopra’s Late Dad

Priyanka Chopra, who lost her father Dr. Ashok Chopra last year in June, has since then stood up like a pillar for her family and went on to excel in her professional life. Her father, Dr. Chopra was a renowned surgeon and had the city mourn after he lost his battle to cancer.

In the memory of this great soul, a street located in the Yari road (Mumbai) is to be named in his honor. An inaugural ceremony will be organized for the same and close friends, family and the members of the NGO that Dr. Chopra was associated with will be attending this event.

Confirming the news says Priyanka Chopra’s spokesperson, “Yes, a road will be named in honor of late Dr. Ashok Chopra. His years of service as a doctor has garnered deep admiration and respect. It is a big moment for the family.”
