The makers of Yahan Sabhi Gyaani Hain recently dropped the trailer of the film and it has been received very well by the audiences and critics alike. And now, the writer of the film, Anant Narain has spilled the beans on what motivated him to write the story of the film. Speaking in an exclusive conversation with Koimoi.com, Anant has made some interesting revelations about the film.
When we quizzed Anant about the quirky title to the film, which in the first glace feels like a political satire, Anant said, “Usually people create the concept of the film and then characters, but unlike most, I first started developing the characters for the film. We meet many eccentric characters in our daily life. And taking inspirations from that, I first developed the characters and then I worked on creating situations for these characters. And also a lot of instances in the film are inspired by my real life too.”
Yahan Sabhi Gyaani Hain, that promises to be a laugh riot, is written in just a span of one month! In a time where comedies and satires are so rampant, when asked how difficult it was to write a clean comedy like this one, Anant said, “Comedy does have a lot of shades to it. And writing comedy in itself is a huge task. One of the biggest points I kept in mind was that just to make the movie work I do not want to indulge in a cheap comedy or dirty dialogues.”
Further opening up about making a film on such a limited budget, Anant said,” Also I had to take into account the budget for the film before. Because if we have a lot of money we can write a film like Golmaal, cast that kind of actor. A big-budget makes the film nothing less than a grandeur. So we were basically stuck in terms of a lot of things. So keeping in mind all these I have tried my best to give the audience thoroughly enjoyable family entertainer!”
