One of the most-awaited romantic comedies to hit the theaters by the end of this year or probably next year is Tamasha. The Imtiaz Ali directorial stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. There have a been a lot of speculations about the film’s story and while none of it has been confirmed, here is the actual story from the director himself.
Rather than giving a plain backdrop of the film, the director beautifully puts it in a verse.
He said : There is something special in you. Don’t ignore it. Don’t change yourself to fit into this world. Please… give yourself a chance. She reminds him of who he is. He is the small town boy who has grown up in the world of stories. He belongs to that world. He is not suited to the corporate rat-race.
The journey he goes through to reach himself is the stage for Tamasha. It’s a personal journey – passionate and quirky – that dismantles his life so that he can become how she sees him – the exuberant story-teller”
Well, other than being completely impressed by this unique presentation of the story, we are now more than excited to watch the film.
