Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film with Aamir Khan, namely P.K has run into trouble! An official F.I.R has been lodged against a unit director. The unit director has been arrested following a complaint that was lodged on the grounds of hurting religious sentiments while the film’s shooting was executed in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. The film crew member was arrested on Wednesday.
The area locals complained that the film had shot a scene where a man dressed like Shiva was pulling a rickshaw that seated 2 burqa clad women. The complaint was recorded under section 295 A that objects to defiling any religious sentiment and 153 A of Indian Penal Code that objects to anything promoting animosity between people from varied religions!
Initially, people thought the actors were members of a Ram Leela party but on seeing cameras, they inquired about the issue. The actors told police that it was a dream sequence of the movie and they had all the legal documents and permission for shooting. However, the police were forced to take actions after a mob gathered at the police station and started shouting slogans that the film-makers were hurting religious sentiments.
However, no case has been registered against Aamir Khan.
