  1. Holy cow!!!!
TOM HANKS ain’t nominated for Captain Phillips.
But Alsonso Cauron is perfect for Best director category.
    And of course Dicaprio too.

  2. These awards have credibility…! But they should be language neutral, means every language should be in main nomination list without any foreign language category…!

  3. Slavery-themed films seem to be the flavor at the Oscars, after the success of LINCOLN and DJANGO!
If Steve McQueen wins the director’s statue, he will become the first Black person, albeit non-American, to win!
And, if. “l2 years…….” gets the other 1 (best film), it will be “Slave” labor well rewarded for this newcomer on the Hollywood scene!

  4. Slavery-themed films seem to be the flavor @ this years Oscars—–after the success of Lincoln and Tarantino’s Django!
Steve Mcqueen’s epic l2 years should garner the main awards–if it does it will be historic for the British director as he would be the first Black to win the coveted directors trophy! And, if he gets the other (film), that would be “Slavery” well rewarded!

  5. The toughest category———Male supporting nominations———-every one of the 5 are brilliant. And Bradley Cooper or Jared leto are, in my opinion, front runners——-
