Shortly before the release of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara, we bring to you the enticing and memorable dialogues from the first edition of the series. The earlier film that too was directed by Milan Luthria starred Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. Now, as the lead actors have changed and the camaraderie has shifted from between Hashmi and Devgn to Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan, Koimoi brings to you its most alluring dialogues.
The lines of the film with its hint of calamity has become eternal. Underworld Don sagas were usually perceived as pedestrian but it can also become so stylish is what the first edition of Once Upon… proved with such class that the dialogues have stayed fresh in our heads. Whether the sequel does the same magic with its dialogues will reveal only with its release. Dialogue writer Rajat Arora had done a fabulous job in OUATIM and with this film we are yet to see whether he can revisit the same magic of his last edition in terms of dialogues!
Ab Supari Li Hai Toh Chuna Nahi Lagaoonga
In the husky voice of Emraan Hashmi, this dialogue is one of the film’s best ones. There is simplicity and casualness in the line, but its implication is dramatic and intense. There have been doubts whether Emraan Hashmi’s perfect portrayal is replacable or not but surely OUATIM wouldn’t have held its ground without Emraan!
Randeep Hooda Caught On Camera Taking A Bribe
This scene worked solely on the acting skills of Randeep Hooda, who played the role of the cop in the period film with such energy and vigor. Sometime strong dialogues fall flat when there is incoherence in delivering it, but Randeep’s subtlety worked in this seen for the best.
Ajav Devgn & Randeep Hooda Visit Emraan Hashmi
The messiah figure Sultan visits a petty small time thief, worked as on the film’s most promising scenes. The dialogues were correctly pitched and they were rightly packed in the higher feel of drama in these lines. When Randeep Hooda makes an entry, the scene became more bombastic.
Ajay Devgn Smuggling Goods Across Railway Tracks
It is hard to agree that crime in any form can be supported, but film like these romanticized the story with such noir that it was hard to find out nooks. This scene was brilliant as Ajay proves that he might indulge in crime but his inherent intentions are never in the wrong place.
Emraan Hashmi Proves Himself To Ajay Devgn
Emraan Hashmi doesn’t get through to Sultan’s good books with such smooth ease. This is a brilliant scene filled with amazing dialogues, as Emraan fights his way through Sultan’s goons infront of him and proves his value to him. This was a pivotal point in the film as it marked the entry of Emraan into Sultan’s kaafila. Kyunki… “Seedhe aadmi ka inke dhande mein kya kaam”
Emraan Hashmi Spends A Night In Jail
The dialogue-baazi is what made OUATIM a class above other gangster sagas. This scene is brilliant as Emraan is locked up in jail and he indulges in audacious verbal crossing with Randeep Hooda, who is a cop.
Emraan Hashmi Plans To Join The Underworld
Emraan Hashmi makes his intention clear as he aspires to join the underworld like Sultan. His fascination was not of Sultan but of his power which makes the climax even more believable. ‘Main Bada banna chahta hoon, jiske samne saari duniya raakh ki tarah gir jayegi.’
Ajay Devgn Buys Gift For Kangana Ranaut Trying To Woo Her
Gangsters are indeed pathetic at love! The romantic angle between Ajay and Kangana is indeed beautiful. Their romance is simple and doesn’t have any airs in it. There are sweet moments and no fuss and feathers!
Romantic Scene – Kangana Ranaut Visits Ajay Devgn On His Birthday
The romance of a diva and a powerful man is what strikes off as one of OUATIM’s most tender points. It is important to render sensitivity in a script that is all muscle power and Kangana and Ajay’s love glowers the same!
Emraan Hashmi Misbehaving With Prachi Desai At Jewellery Store
Contrasting the elan of Sultan and Rehana’s love is the track of Emraan and Prachi whose love is rude and nascent and it is the raw feel that makes it work. The passion falls apart when the cannibal-ish zest of her man became hard to control.
OUATIMD so far seems promising from its trailer with its dialogues hitting off in the perfect way. One of the most memorable ones being – Agar main hero ban gaya toh meri pehchaan bura maan jayegi!
Sonakshi’s Dialogue story
Actress Sonakshi Sinha loves the excessive dialogue baazi of her upcoming film and she thinks the knocking off power of words between Milan Luthria and Rajat Arora is what makes the film’s feel so perfect!
Ho Gayi Na Ladai Shuru Dialogue Promo
The last OUATIM experience was a war of philosophies, this time it gets petty and personal as two men fight for a woman’s love. It is more vigorous and forceful and when there are personal emotions involved, the war is way more magnanimous.
Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again Theatrical Trailer-1
The lovers duel is something that doesn’t click well for me. The personal war and the spat is spirit dampening as I am compelled to think whether OUATIMD’s magic can be as overwhelming as its prequel. But being a fan of the former, I will surely give this one a solid chance. And hopefully emerge out of the film with a few more stellar dialogues to quote from time to time.
Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara Theatrical Trailer-2
The second trailer of the upcoming Balaji film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara is even better than the film’s first trailer. Of the many catchy elements, it is striking music that does the magic for this trailer. The stunts of the film are wickedly done and it for sure will leave an explosive impact on its audiences.
