Shah Rukh Khan’s star power mesmerizes not only film makers in India but also in neighboring countries. Being well aware of the man’s colossal persona makers of Pakistani Film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi delayed the release of their venture so as to not get negatively affected by the Shah Rukh Khan starer Chennai Express that is slated to release in the country on the eve of Eid.
Though sources also informed that the film’s writer clarified the delay in its release due to ‘list minute problems’. Since MHSA is the year’s most touted film the makers naturally want the film to be perfect. Moreover, the film’s editor veteran Azam Khan passed away during the work on its editing, and the makers found it unnecessary to rush on with the release without ensuring it’s the best of their product. But he also admitted that Chennai Express would have given them a tough competition and hence even that was taken into account while zeroing on the decision to delay the film.
However, Chennai Express can take it to their credit that Pakistani film makers and distributors had decided that no Indian film will be released in Pakistan during Eid and seems like for Chennai Express alone, the rule has been done away with.
