Well, we have to say the wait was worth it. After enough speculations hit the market about Shah Rukh Khan’s leading lady in his upcoming movie Raees, the makers have now disclosed the name. In a quite surprising manner, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will be debuting with this film.
Recently, Bollywood has been promoting cross-border talent and after we saw Fawad Khan in Khoobsurat and Humaima Malick in Raja Natwarlal, Mahira will be entering Bollywood. She is an ex-VJ and actress who starred in the much acclaimed film Bol. Mahira had recently been to India thanks to the popularity of her TV serial ‘Humsafar’.
Raees also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a key role. The film is being directed by Rahul Dholakia and is being produced by Ritesh Siddhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
