Actor Rishi Kapoor, who is known for his versatility, will now be seen as a cook in his upcoming venture Turban Tadka which will be directed by a debutante director.
A source close to the actor revealed, “Rishi Kapoor is known for experimenting with different roles. Yes, he has given nod to a film where he will be playing a cook. It is the story of a Punjabi man who loves cooking. It’s a typical Punjabi family film and considering the fact that Rishi himself comes from a typical Punjabi family, who better than him could justify this role.”
Debutante director Chirag Arora, will wield the mega phone for ‘Turban Tadka’ which will go on floors next year. The film will be produced by Rajesh Banga.
‘Turban Tadka’ will see Rishi Kapoor as a protagonist and reportedly the makers are also planning to rope in some known names from the film industry.
