Though Tigmanshu Dhulia hasn’t tasted much success since his fascinating film Paan Singh Tomar, the director seemed way more hopeful about Revolver Rani. When asked about how different is Revolver Rani from his last release Bullett Raja, an extremely confident Dhulia reverted, “Bullett Raja didn’t work, this one will.”

When asked to elaborate on it, the filmmaker said, “Everytime I watch Revolver Rani, I find something new in it. I have seen the film atleast four times now in its editing phase and it always has something new to offer in every watch. This is the sign of a classic.”

But classics don’t quite work because of its over-intellectualism. Will Revolver Rani be similar? Dhulia carefully replied saying, “This film is a complete B-grade entertainer. It is a 2 hour plus long tamasha that has every element one seeks in a typical B-grade film. Also, it is an unpredictable film and that’s appealing.”

Revolver Rani that stars Kangana Ranaut, Piyush Mishra and Vir Das in lead roles will release on 25th April. Directed by Sai Kabir, the film is a political satire and a dark comedy set in Chambal.
