After giving a mega entertainer like Rowdy Rathore, the director-actor duo Akshay Kumar and Prabhu Dheva are going to be back with Singh Is Bling. The first look of the film created quite a stir because of its similarity to Akshay’s previous film Singh Is King, since in this film too the actor plays a Sardar again.
Interestingly, the leading lady for this romantic drama is now finalized and it is the newbie Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon who was last seen in Heropanti. According to a popular daily, Akshay was impressed by her performance in Heropanti and suggested her for the role.
Kriti will be seen playing a dancer in the film. One of the reasons why she was approached for the role was because the actress has a a perfect frame to portray as a dancer, informed a source to the daily.
The film is set to go on the floors this November and will be shot in Cape Town and other exotic locations. Produced by Grazing Goat pictures, the film is slated to release on 31st July 2015.
