Actor Ranveer Singh, who was recently diagnosed with severe dengue while shooting for his upcoming film Gunday in Bengal, was hospitalized at a suburban Mumbai hospital. Though it was rumored widely in the media that the actor is suffering from acute dengue and will have to remain in hospital for a long time due to failing health, he will finally be discharged tonight itself.
Lately he has been responding well to treatment and is on the road to recovery. His absence from the scene has apparently hampered the promotional activity of his upcoming film with Deepika Padukone, Ramleela. But the film’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali insisted on his health being more important.
Though the actor will be back home tonight, he has been advised to take complete bed rest for the next fortnight. In a statement to the press, Singh said, “Your love & blessings have helped me fight this illness! Thank you all for the warmth & wishes that helped me tide over my weakest hour!”
We wish Ranveer Singh is back to being hale and hearty at earliest!
