Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most ambitious project, ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ will now be a 2016 release. The period drama starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in lead roles is running behind its schedule and so it seems difficult for the makers to wrap-up this film and have a Christmas release.
While Ranveer is currently shooting his portions in Rajasthan, Priyanka is yet to shoot a good chunk of the film and also Deepika has kept the film’s shoot for September on her schedule. Also director Bhansali does not want to compromise on anything and is looking at the finest details for this film.
With Bajirao Mastani now pushed to 2016, it seems that Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film with Shah Rukh Khan will get a solo release.
