Imtiaz Ali’s next Tamasha has been gathering much hype thanks to its lead pair, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. After their last hit Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, the duo will be once again romancing each other in Tamasha which is a unique love story.

Earlier, the film was slated to release this year and was scheduled to have a Christmas release although we now hear, it has been postponed. The film has been pushed to 2016.

If reports are to be believed, the film has been postponed to avoid clash with Bajirao Mastani and Shah Rukh Khan’s yet untitled project with Rohit Shetty, which too might release in the same period.

With this, Ranbir Kapoor, who was earlier having three releases in the year, namely Bombay Velvet in May, Jagga Jasoos in November and Tamasha in December will now have two releases. It seems the actor was keen on having a sufficient time gap between his releases and hence post Jagga Jasoos the release of Tamasha would have been too soon.
