The first song from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor was released today and well, its just like what we expected it to be. Every Rajshri production film has a song which features the entire family and talks about the love for them. Similarly, Prem Leela is a song that is all about Mr. Prem (Salman Khan). You literally see him in every frame.
The song features a Ram Leela setting where Prem is narrating a story through his song. After we saw Salman do the ‘Selfie Le Le‘ in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, this is a throwback of his older days when he starred in films like Hum Aapke Hai Koun and Hum Saath Saath Hain, the cliched ‘spreading love’ character. Prem Leela has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya. With peppy beats that give you a complete ‘desi’ feel and whistles blowing in the background, the situational song goes well with the colorful Ram Leela setting video. We see a few glimpses of Sonam Kapoor in it but majority of the song is just Salman, Salman and Salman.
So enjoy the comeback of ‘Prem’ with Prem Leela.
