After giving a musical super hit Yaariyan in 2014 January, Divya Khosla Kumar is all set to release her next musical romantic Sanam Re on February 12, 2016. Produced by T-Series, the lead pair – Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam along with Urvashi Rautela are sure to grab eyeballs for this soulful love story that releases on the weekend of love.
Reveals a source, “Divya had earlier wanted to release at the end of this year. However since she has the young pair of Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat in her Sanam Re, that is quintessentially a love-story, she has decided to come in the Valentine week in 2016.”
The industry is famous for its release date battles amongst film makers/actors/producers and more. Top filmmakers make a bee line for the biggest opening days such as a Diwali release in October, Christmas in December, Republic day in January and Valentine’s Day in the month of love – February. Divya Khosla Kumar follows suit as she has chosen to release her second directorial venture titled Sanam Re on February 12 next year.
