Sooraj Bajatya, who is known for showing traditional culture and moral family values in his films, got a U Certificate for his upcoming family drama ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘ from the Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) but after giving three cuts in the film.

Amongst the three cuts, the censor board asked the makers to remove the word ‘Chinar’, which is used twice in the film to describe a immoral woman or a mistress and instead of it replace it with less derogatory word.

The other cut was made on the basis of religious grounds as there is a long antakshari sequence during ram-leela in the film where the lines ‘Maar Diya Jaye Ya chhod Diya Jaaye’ was used and CBFC has told the makes to remove this line as it might religious sentiments of the people.

Apart from these minor cuts, the film sailed smoothly through certification. The Salman Khan-Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘ is slated to release on 12th November 2015.
