2014’s most controversial and the Highest Grosser movie of All time – PK will now be remade in Telugu and Tamil. Gemini Film Circuit has bought the remake rights of Rajkumar Hirani’s PK, as reported by a leading daily.
Interestingly, superstar Kamal Haasan will be roped in to play the role of ‘PK’ which was played by Aamir Khan. According to reports, Haasan has already given his nod to play the lead, however it is still not officially announced whether Mr. Haasan will play the lead in Telugu version too.
Kamal Haasan will start working on the film from May. But, Haasan has asked the makers to bring about a few changes in the plot of the film to suit the southern sensibilities.
Gemini Film Circuit, is a film distribution and production studio unit of Chennai, which has earlier produced Hirani’s films like 3 Idiots and Munnabhai MBBS.
