A little more than a fortnight from now, Boss would be playing on screens. While the party numbers featuring Akshay Kumar are playing hard in night clubs and discotheques, Aditi Rao Hydari’s sensual number with Shiv Pandit, Har Kisi Ko Nahi Milta, is finding an audience base in lounges.
While she continues to bring on sensuality on screens, one wonders if Aditi was amused when around the announcement of the film, many jumped the gun and declared that it was her and Akshay paired as a couple in Boss.
“I have come to realise that the best thing in such kind of situations is to just lie low and let the time pass,” sighs Aditi, “In any case, back then I was not allowed to speak about the film and hence when rumours started spreading, people assumed that I was with Akshay in the film. What can I say in such a scenario? As an actor I can just keep quiet.”
She is happy though that now with the promos of the film being on, things have come out in the right perspective and cinegoers are well aware of the fact that Akshay is going solo in the film, though there are quite a few scenes where Aditi interacts with him on screen.
“I knew that that when the time would be right, correct things will come out. There was no point in defending myself,” says Aditi, “Of course it has been a very wonderful and fabulous experience though that both Shiv and I got to work with Akshay sir in the film. It is time now for us to make him feel proud about his confidence and belief in us.”
One looks forward to that happening once this Anthony D’Souza directed film releases all over on 16th October.
