The star studded final episode of Satyamev Jayate isn’t far and the first promo has the gorgeous Bollywood beauties discussing their idea of what they are looking for in a man. While Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut, who have made appearances in the episode couldn’t be tracked amidst work, Koimoi spoke to Parineeti Chopra who is also present in the episode to find out on what note is this season of Satyamev Jayate ending. Parineeti, who is busy promoting Kill Dil was surprised to hear it’s out. Her instant reaction was, “Dude it’s come? Living in promotions is a black hole.”
Giving the gist of the episode’s theme, she said, “The shop’s format is such I cannot give out the exact thing we are discussing. The point of the discussion was how male and female characters behave in films. This is why actresses were called. Aamir himself agreed that even he has been part of films at times when the woman is not exactly treated with respect. There is a tendency of mainstream cinema to insult women, like passing a remark at her in public but in the end the girl still falls for the boy. It happens in films but how close is it to reality? In real life if a guy misbehaves with a girl, or kisses you in public, what will one do? Aamir wanted an actor’s point of view on this. What we do in films is depicting a certain story but how true is it for our realities is what we are discussing there.”
The discussion ventured towards their individual idea of an ideal man and what one looks for in an ideal man, any actress specifically and a woman in general. Parineeti describes her idea of the ideal man, “I genuinely need a guy who is capable enough to take care of me. He should be rock solid dependable. He shouldn’t be with me because I look great on a certain day and goes for how I look on the exterior. Such relationships last for six months and then it fizzles out. I need a guy who can take me at my worst, even if I am sick, smelling bad and looking ugly, he will be there for me. It’s how parents are. I am a young girl but I am not into flossy things.”
The second slot of Satyamev Jayate’s second season performed really well. A particular episode of queer relationships and their acceptability has won the show great reviews and response. But the star studded ending is what everyone is awaiting. News reports suggest that Amitabh Bachchan as well as Salman Khan will be making their appearances this time.
