Karan Johar’s much talked about project on the adaptation of Amish Tripathi’s The Immortals Of Meluha may have gained its lead. While earlier, Hrithik Roshan was reported to have been roped in for the role of Lord Shiva, the actor walked out of the project owing to his health as well as date issues.
Now, we hear, actor Tiger Shroff who is all set to debut with Heropanti, is being considered for the role. The book tells the story of a Tibetan immigrant named Shiva who is invited to the kingdom of Meluha where he discovers his destiny.
Says an insider, “Tiger has already shown off his immense physical strength in Heropanti promos. And hence, he may be just perfect to play the role of the deity. In fact, Tiger himself is a huge devotee of Lord Shiva and takes inspiration from his stories.”
However, when contacted Tiger Shroff, he said, “Ma’am there have been a lot of projects that I have been approached for. But I can only talk about them once it is finalized.”
