Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid who play the characters of Sandhya and Sooraj on the popular daily soap Diya Aur Baati Hum, have now become household names. The serial appearing on Star Plus is one of the prime time serials and thus the duo have a lot of appeal. While everything may be hunky dory for Sandhya and Sooraj on-screen, they seem to be having some major issues off it.
Recently, when the duo were shooting for a romantic scene for the show, Anas reportedly tried to touch Deepika inappropriately. Deepika did not raise her voice during the shoot but complained of the incident post the shoot.
After no action was taken, she reported to her director, Rohit Raj Goyal, who is also her husband. After this, Deepika and Anas had a heated argument where he denied her allegations and during this, Deepika slapped him in front of the crew. Anas has now lodged a complaint with Cintaa (Cine and TV artistes association) for false allegations.
