If you have watched Hollywood film Dumb And Dumber, O Teri has very little novelty to boast of. However, it is Pulkit Samrat whose infectious energy is so alluring that you will sit through the entire trailer of the film. Though the unanimous question at end of the trailer would invariably be, ‘Kehna Kya Chahte Ho’, there is something about the film undefeated.

The trailer tells the story of two dumb reporters who indulge in hopeless escapades of how ginger drinks milk. As lame and silly it is, I managed to make peace with it since humor of Hindi films have generally failed to elevate over that level. The young lads, Pulkit along with Bilal Amrohi are definitely well-cast. They seem to hold to their extremely wit-less roles with great intensity; their camaraderie is pitch perfect.

Besides the two leading men who give pedestrian-ism a new high, the film’s saving grace is Vijay Raaz it seems. The man’s sarcasm and straight faced dialogue delivery is what makes the trailer funnier. His role in Dedh Ishqiya is still fresh in my mind and there is some eloquent hope that given ample screen space, Raaz can provide the required skeletal grounding that the film might miss.

Coming from the makers of Bodyguard, I don’t have tall hopes from this film. But for Vijay Raaz, Samrat-Amrohi endearing bantering and mostly an item number by Salman Khan can provide us enough impetus to drag ourselves to the theaters and give the film a shot.
